How can I incorporate raw with spa?

The question that started everything.

Raspberry Village

I was born into a small Russian community in the pristine wilderness of the BC Interior. I was raised on organic soil, with clean water and fresh mountain air. My parents and grandparents taught me early how to grow and prepare the highest quality organic foods.

I was inspired by my grandmother Vera's raw food approach and my mother Jean's beauty.

Beauty school brought out my inner beauty

In 2011 I graduated from the Blanche Macdonald Centre in Vancouver, a long-time dream of mine. While I was there, I started nourishing my body by eating mainly raw foods. I had more energy, and my skin, hair and nails had never looked better.

My classmates started asking what I was doing. I shared what I had learned with the women in my class, and that was the moment the connection was made: beauty through health. They began calling me The Raw Beautician.

Raw, say hello to spa

After graduating, I worked at spas in Nelson, BC, and took on leadership roles. People trust their esthetician. I wanted to use that trust to talk about what was on the plate as well as what was on the skin.

Living Cosmetics grew out of the same idea, with grass-fed tallow, living ferments and short ingredient lists. The Raw Beautician is where I teach everything behind it.

Raw beauty is here to stay.
